Joshua Yan is a junior piano performance major at Baylor. He has been a finalist in the Baylor Concerto Competition, and recently performed a successful junior recital in Roxy Grove Hall.

Team Seven: Baylor proud, booked and blessed, jumping right out of their latest big projects into new territory.

Johnny Alves is a 21-year-old Choral Music Education Major from Plymouth, Massachusetts. Alves incorporates music into the world around him, as he looks to better educate the world about his passion. Alves has studied with several conductors, directors, and musicians from around the world, and has piqued his interest in becoming a widespread music educator and conductor. He is most well-know for becoming the recent two-time first-place recipient in the classical voice category of NATS; a collegiate competition, among many other accolades to his name.

Internationally recognized baritone Jordan Roth has performed roles with community theatre establishments, academic opera programs, and professional companies. His favorite roles include Father from Hansel and Gretel, Balthazar from Amahl and the Night Visitors, Orfeo from L’Orfeo, Bunthorne from Patience, and more. Recently, he made his international debut in the summer of 2022 as Nardo in Opera Seme's production of La finta giardiniera in Arezzo, Italy. This year he is taking on his first Spanish role as Vidal in Baylor Opera Theatre’s production of Luisa Fernanda. Currently, Roth is pursuing a Master of Music in Voice Performance at Baylor University where he studies under Mark Diamond.

An ardent and eager tenor, Logan Briscoe has enchanted stateside and European audiences alike with his captivating performances. A native of Saratoga Springs, NY now residing in Central Texas, Logan began his study of voice at Concordia University Wisconsin and went on to graduate work at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Since his operatic debut amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Logan has brought his heroic sound to UWM Opera Theatre, Utah Vocal Arts Academy, Opera Seme, Music On Site, Inc., LAHSOW, Festival Napa Valley, and Baylor Opera Theatre. Most recently Logan has taken on the role of Don Florito in Torroba’s Luisa Fernanda with Baylor Opera Theatre in addition to performing the role of Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus with Music On Site, Inc.
